What Bumpers are Made Of
Most bumpers today are plastic coverings with a metal bar beneath for reinforcement. They often have some type of foam or other mechanisms inside as well to assist in impact absorption. Older model cars have bumpers made of metal, but this is not optimal for performance. Whichever type of bumper is on your vehicle, or fleet of vehicles, Wilson’s technicians can bring it back to pre-collision condition for a fair price, in a reasonable amount of time. It is important to know that when your car, truck, or van is in our shop, we’ll not only inspect and repair the bumper, we will look further for damage that may not be visible from the outside. But don’t worry, we will not recommend unnecessary parts or repairs. We are an honest and reliable collision center with outstanding customer support.
